Cressi’s story began in 1930s Genoa, when brothers Egidio and Nanni turned their passion for the sea into innovation. From hand-crafted masks and spearguns to pioneering designs, their vision shaped a brand destined to become a global reference in underwater exploration. Since 1946, Cressi has set industry milestones: from the first oxygen rebreather to the revolutionary Rondine fin, the Pinocchio mask, and the first modern BCDs — up to today’s in-house engineered dive computers and advanced solutions for freediving and swimming. Still family-owned, Cressi continues to merge passion, research, and technology, carrying forward an 80-year legacy of innovation that inspires new generations of divers worldwide.
